Design Report: UFO Smash: extra powers cards

I've been working on getting the basic UFO Smash game together for production (will also be presenting it at the next UNPUB event)

Now it's time to add the extra powers cards..... Each alien race has access to special abilities for players who want to play the advanced game. Players can choose to integrate an agreed-upon number of these special cards to enhance the gameplay.

Here is the brakdown of the  extra cards:

Ganymede:

• Has Rapid-Fire ability, to take extra turns
• Has a number of Energizer Drones, that allow the player to draw more cards

Luna:

• Has a large variety of Microships, for extra scoring ability

Mars:

• Has the mighty Fireship, which can form from explosions
• Has a number of pure Explosion cards, to help clear the board

Neptune:

• Has the giant Mothership, which 'locks' part of the board from oppnents
• Has many Barrier Drones, which protect nearby Neptonian ships
