Had a 6-player testing session this weekend of Dungeon Freakout, the new collaborative and competitive card game we've been working on. With three full decks mixed together, we went through a lot of cards!
Some notes:
- may remove keys and doors from the starter set and save those for an expansion.
- will writeup 'Ghost Rules' for characters that are killed off in the game
- Designed new 'Freakout' rule for those very special times when characters 'flip out'
- Added Wave attacks back into the mix, to help balance some of the character height benefits
- tweaking the Traps mechanic
All-in-all, it was a very valuable session! Thanks to Marty, Molly, Tom, Jason and George! (elite playtesters)
We also did some testing of George's new 'Fools Gold' game and more.
